Pooja thought this could at least release her from “routine hard work” as house maid in several houses for her daily bread.
With shattered dream and rejection from home, she tried to find security in her work place but was abused by many.
As her parents fixed marriage, CFI came to know the story of Pooja and intervened in providing support to her through a trained field staff.

Moreover, awareness camps were introduced in the village and organized peer pressure in support of the girl.
By convincing them the legal consequences of child marriage, her parents changed their decision.
CFI promised all efforts for her marriage at the appointed time and now stands with her for her a better future.
